These terms apply when you use the NeerLink app, the NeerLink Business app, the website neerlink.in and the NeerLink web apps (together, "NeerLink"). NeerLink is operated by Livnox Media LLP ("we", "us"), Building No./Unit No. 37/1465, Ponekkara, Edapally, Kochi, Kerala 682024, India. By signing in, or by using NeerLink for your company, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use NeerLink.
1. What NeerLink is
NeerLink is software. Privately run water-supply companies ("water companies") use it to manage consumers, meter readings, bills and payments. NeerLink is not the Kerala Water Authority or any government body.
- Your water company is your supplier. It supplies the water, sets the tariff and charges, reads the meter, issues your bills and is responsible for your connection.
- We provide the technology that connects you and your water company. We don't supply water, and we don't set or change what you are charged.
2. Your account
- Household logins are created by your water company, one for each connection. Your username is the mobile number on that connection.
- Give accurate details and keep your password and one-time codes to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use NeerLink with a parent's or guardian's consent.
- You can delete your login at any time. See Support and the Privacy Policy.
3. Bills and payments (households)
- Bills are worked out from your meter readings and your water company's tariff. If you think a bill is wrong, raise a request in the app or contact your water company.
- You owe the amount of a bill to your water company, not to us.
- Where your water company offers online payment, you can pay with UPI, card or net banking, processed by a payment partner (Razorpay or PhonePe). The money goes to your water company's own merchant account; it does not pass through a NeerLink account.
- A payment is treated as successful only once the payment partner confirms it to our server. Cash and other offline payments are recorded by your water company.
- Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Using NeerLink fairly
Please don't:
- use someone else's account, phone number or payment method without permission;
- enter false readings, payments or other records;
- abuse or harass staff or other users;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload NeerLink, or try to get around its security;
- use NeerLink for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
5. Terms for water companies
If your company uses NeerLink, these terms also apply to you and your staff, together with any agreement we make with you:
- Approval. Each company is reviewed by us before it goes live. We may ask for KYC details and may decline a request.
- Subscription. You pay the subscription for your plan. Fees are shown before you pay, and are non-refundable except as set out in the Refund Policy.
- Online payments. To accept online payments, you connect your own merchant account with a payment partner and complete its KYC. Consumer payments are settled by the partner directly to you, and you handle refunds for them.
- Your responsibilities. Keep your tariffs, consumer records, readings and bills accurate; hold the licences, registrations and permissions your business needs; and handle consumer complaints fairly and promptly.
- Consumer data. You decide what you keep about your consumers, and you are responsible for having the right to keep it. Use it only to run their connections and as the law allows.
- Staff. You are responsible for the staff logins you create and what they do in NeerLink.
- Your records. Your data belongs to you. NeerLink's reports and accounts help you keep your books, but you remain responsible for your tax and statutory filings.
- Suspension. We may suspend a company that breaks these terms or the law, or does not pay its subscription.
6. Our content
The NeerLink name, logo, apps and website belong to us. Company names, logos and records belong to the water companies that add them.
7. Liability
- We work to keep NeerLink available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable.
- Your water company is responsible for the water supply, tariffs, readings and bills. We are not responsible for its service, but we will help you raise a complaint.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount of the payment concerned, or ₹1,000 if no payment is involved. For a water company, it is limited to the subscription fees paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use NeerLink after that means you accept the updated terms.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi, Kerala have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to approach a consumer commission. Please contact us first; most issues are solved quickly.
10. Contact and grievances
